19th September 2009.

Jane Edmanson visits a garden in the Dandenong ranges to show some of her favourite cool season Salvias, and to demonstrate how to prune and propagate them. Josh Byrne drops in on some friends about 12 km outside of Broome to see their permaculture style farm, and check in on a project he helped design and build. John Patrick visits a constructed wetland, designed to recycle and purify high nutrient runoff water and Sophie Thomson explores a rambling old fashioned garden in the Adelaide Hills with a century-old orchard, magnificent exotic trees and a fabulous combination of specialist and common plants.
