New series featuring gardens open to the public, today visiting Aberglasney, Carmarthenshire and Bodnant Garden in the Conwy Valley.

Ep02 - Aled Samuel explores Welsh gardens, looking at their background and historical interest as well as their planning and plants. Today: Castell Powis and Penllergare woodland garden.

Ep03 - Aled Samuel explores Welsh gardens, looking at their background and historical interest as well as their planning and plants. Today: Erddig on the outskirts of Wrexham. Erddig's walled garden is one of the most important surviving 18th century formal gardens in Britain.

Ep04 - Aled explores Welsh gardens, looking at their background and historical interest as well as their planning and plants. Today: Colby Woodland Garden in Amroth and Penrhyn Castle Garden.

Ep05 - Aled Samuel explores Welsh gardens, looking at their background and historical interest as well as their planning and plants. Today Aled visits the lavish gardens at Duffryn, and Cowbridge Physic Garden.

Ep06 - Aled Samuel concludes his tour of Welsh gardens with a visit to Plas Brondanw in North Wales, which was once the home of architect Clough William-Ellis. He also takes in Dewstow Gardens in Monmouthshire, which is considered one of the world's best examples of a Pulhamite garden.
