Part 1 - Preview.

Joe Swift and Rachel de Thame present the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2009 run by the Royal Horticultural Society. The show celebrates 500 years since Henry VIII's accession to the throne with gardens designed for each of his wives. A special feature, The Conceptual Gardens, sparks controversy between plant purists and art lovers, and all the beauty of the season's top blooms is displayed to its best advantage in the show's largest ever Floral Marquee.

Part 2 - Day 1.
Joe Swift and Rachel de Thame are joined by James Wong to give a guided tour of the show. In a cookery special, a signature pizza is created for each of the BBC's main gardening presenters using the showground's Grow Your Own exhibits, and there is a homage to roses in a special festival in the Floral Marquee.

Part 3 - Day 2.
A special feature, The Conceptual Gardens, sparks controversy between plant purists and art lovers, and all the beauty of the season's top blooms is displayed to its best advantage in the show's largest ever Floral Marquee.
