Show Me Your Garden s01.

Green-fingered enthusiasts go head-to-head in this new gardening contest. If you know your hydrangeas from your hollyhocks, this homegrown contest is for you. It’s gardening shears at dawn when these enthusiasts from across Britain give us a peek at their beloved backyards, be it a wild country estate or cool urban space.

Each episode, three couples will take it in turns to visit and judge one another's pride and joys, awarding a maximum of 50 points to the hopeful who impresses the most in a triumvirate of categories: design and maintenance, general knowledge, and overall experience of the day. The winner will take home £500 and the coveted golden trowel. Up first in this London-based series opener are retired paediatrician Malkanthie and her husband David, followed by ex-advertising executive Edwina and her hubby Nigel and former art teachers Barbara and Marek. With very different tastes and styles, who will be crowned hedge-and-shoulders above the rest?

It's like Come Dine with Me but without the cooking - and with added flowers and decking. Sussex is this week's location, where flashy retail entrepreneur Alan, single mum Vanessa and horticulturists Jane and Nick show off their pride and joy. Whose will be judged the best?

Ep03 - The only way is Essex as we head to the driest county in England to meet the latest batch of hopefuls. Whose garden will be considered the best?

Ep04 - The gardening gloves are well and truly off as we make our way to the Midlands to see who can weed out the rest of the competition.

Ep05 - Green-fingered hopefuls from Ireland take it in turns to visit and judge each other's gardens, with the winner collecting the golden trowel and £500 in cash.

Ep06 - Alison Steadman narrates the horticultural challenge from Scotland, where extreme weather conditions can make gardening a potentially tricky task. These three hopefuls have managed it , however, beginning with university academic Carey, who has carved a multi-layered getaway from a disused 10 metre railway embankment. Retired lawyer Margaret can't wait to show off her stunning space, complete with mirror pool and a sundial lawn, and property manager Caroline and her hubby Donald are proud of their cottage-like idyll, which has taken years of hard graft to get just the way they want.
