Examine the Singapore Botanic Gardens' development and its role in the greening of Singapore and Singapore's vision from a Garden City to a City in a Garden.

Looking at the Singapore Botanic Gardens as a scientific institution, its role in spearheading orchid and ginger research and cultivation, VIP orchids as well as a spotlight on Holttum and the Herbarium.
