Monty Don visits the Royal Horticultural Society's garden at Wisley in Surrey whilst Carol Klein visits Harlow Carr in North Yorkshire as part of a special programme from the RHS grounds. At Wisley, Monty finds out how the vegetable gardens have fared over a difficult year for gardening and discovers just what the RHS gardeners have been growing, as well as top tips on growing grapes in the UK. At Harlow Carr, the northernmost garden of the RHS, Carol discovers which plants grow well in the harsher climate and along with the RHS experts, answers dilemmas from viewers in the north on which plants will thrive in exposed conditions, as well as what lawns need now to ensure a great sward in spring and advice on propagating a favourite magnolia.
