Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2014.

Monty, Rachel and Joe preview the Royal Horticultural Society's 2014 Hampton Court Palace Flower Show before the gates open. In the first of three programmes Monty takes a look around the newly planted Palace kitchen garden and discovers what Henry VIII would have demanded for dinner. Joe gets a flavour of the large show gardens and Rachel reveals the coveted title of Rose of the Year.

Monty, Joe and Rachel are joined by Carol and Toby at this year's RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. Monty discovers the vital but invisible creatures that lurk within our gardens. Joe learns about the plight of Britain's hedgehogs and discovers how gardeners can help. Carol looks at plants that attract pollinators to your garden, whilst Toby is solving everyday garden design problems. Rachel enjoys this year's brand new roses and Matthew Keightley, winner of The People's Choice award at this year's Chelsea Flower Show, takes a look at this year's must have plants.

Monty and the team are joined by chef and RHS ambassador Mary Berry as they continue their tour of The Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and take a closer look at conceptual gardens. Joe shares his passion for Antipodean plants and takes a look around an Australian inspired show garden. Rachel learns about the lost language of plants from jewellery expert Geoffrey Munn, Carol takes a look at summer exotics in the Floral Pavilion, Matthew Keightley meets the winner of the One Show garden design competition and Toby has the best tips and solutions for growing plants in containers.
