Charlie’s Wildlife Gardens s01.

In the first of a new six-part series, Charlie Dimmock and wildlife expert Chris Baines create their first wildlife garden as they turn a small patch of lawn into a meadow in time for spring and summer. Charlie also visits one of Britain's best butterfly gardens and enjoys one of the few remaining flower meadows with flora and fauna enthusiast Nick Baker.

    This week Charlie Dimmock and wildlife expert Chris Baines create an organic vegetable patch in a garden on a Bristol council estate. Plus a visit to an allotment where two gardeners balance the production of organic vegetables with consideration for wildlife.
  • Ep5:
    In the penultimate programme of the series, Charlie Dimmock and wildlife expert Chris Baines convert a tiny garden in the heart of a city into a small wildlife oasis.
  • Ep6:
    In the last programme of the series, Charlie Dimmock, wildlife expert Chris Baines and a group of schoolchildren create a wildlife plot from scratch. Charlie also visits a garden on a Thames-side jetty and goes on a night-time hunt in search of moths.
